About the Role:
Our Core Technology Team are looking for a Network Engineer with the passion and drive to work across a broad spectrum of technologies.
You will collaborate closely with a skilled, forward-thinking team to simplify and improve the platforms and services that support our growing tech landscape.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever evolving digital environment and who is excited by the opportunity to deliver innovation solutions across a diverse technology portfolio.
Key Accountabilities:
You will bring a broad and adaptable skillset, combining technical capability with a proactive mindset and attention to detail. You are curious, enthusiastic and confident in taking ownership of both current and future platforms.
You will be comfortable analysing complex problems, even beyond your existing skillset and will thrive in a fast paced, change-driven environment.
Strong communication skills and a high standard of quality in delivery are essential, along with the ability to work within ITIL frameworks.
Please note this role is to be based onsite 4 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:
- Implementation, support, and maintenance of a broad range of infrastructures including Core, Datacentre, and Campus Networks, Firewalls, WAN, VPN, and WiFi, owning the current and future state to provide secure, high performing, scalable services to the business.
- Support and troubleshooting of interconnected systems that depend on network capabilities
- Identifying opportunities to provide continuous service improvement and enhanced customer experience.
- Ownership of essential network services including DNS, DHCP, Domains, Certificates, and Authentication.
- Structured Cabling design and support.
- Security, system protection and continuity (backup/restore/DR)
- Gathering requirements and implementing new network projects from concept to execution
- Providing escalation support and knowledge sharing across IT and the wider organisation
- Driving efficiency by automating tasks and enabling smarter ways of working.
- Strong experience implementing and managing enterprise networking, including full network replacements.
- Familiarity of EVPN Fabric, Campus Networks, WiFi, SD-WAN technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or HPE Aruba network technologies.
- Expertise in next generation firewalls, load balancing and security platforms.
- Experience with converged infrastructure interconnectivity.
- Understanding of SDN and cloud connectivity
- Experience of network storage protocols.
- Experience of network management and monitoring tools.
- Ideally, experience with multi-tenant / customer models of providing shared services.
- Familiarity with CLI-based workflows is beneficial
- Vendor certifications (e.g. Cisco, HPE Aruba) are advantageous
