Job Title: Multi:Skilled Engineer (Electrical and Mechanical)

Location: Cambridge

Working Hours: 42 hours per week, 4 on 4 off shift rota (days and nights)

Salary: 45k + Benefits

About The Role

Are you a skilled engineer with experience in both electrical and mechanical systems? Our client, a leading property maintenance company, is looking for a dedicated Multi:Skilled Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing a variety of systems across a large, high:profile site, ensuring everything is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, and other mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Carry out inspections and repairs to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Work closely with the team to ensure high:quality service is consistently delivered.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Participate in the 4 on 4 off shift rota, which includes a mixture of day and night shifts.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a multi:skilled engineer, ideally with both electrical and mechanical expertise.
• Relevant qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering (e.g., City and Guilds, NVQ, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building services, HVAC systems, and general property maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
