MARKETING ASSISTANT - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

A BRIEF SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our external and internal marketing efforts by assisting in the development, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns. This role requires a blend of creativity and analytical skills, with a strong emphasis on project management and effective communication. The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in managing various marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with our organisational goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including email marketing and social media.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and insights that can inform marketing strategies.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure that all marketing materials are produced on schedule.
  • Collaborate with team members to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Support leadership in coordinating events, promotions, and other marketing activities.
  • Keeping social media calendar up to date
  • Writing Case studies
  • Compiling team stories and assisting in the content creation for the internal newsletter and liaising with internal teams for updates
  • Liaising with internal teams for -internal communication pieces and assisting in production of monthly team programme content
  • Helping update and manage image library
  • Assisting with gathering information & images for proposals
  • Writing team bios
  • Assisting with creation of company presentations

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:

  • Have studied or obtained a qualification in Marketing and or Communications, or have a strong interest in progressing a career in Marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency at using Microsoft Office packages including PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using Google tools for analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Leadership qualities that foster teamwork and collaboration within the department.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
