Job Description

As a Machine Operator here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that machinery operates efficiently and effectively to meet production goals. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring production quality, and adhering to safety standards.

You will report directly to a Production Supervisor and will work out of our Southend location.

In this role, you will impact the overall productivity of the manufacturing process, contributing to the timely delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and quality output.
  • Prevent machine stoppages through proactive monitoring and replenishment of components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Responding and communicating machine stoppages and breakages to relevant manager/department.

Qualifications

Key skills and qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in operating industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Experience with safety and quality control processes.
  • Enable efficiency within operations whilst maintaining high quality standards.
  • Perform in accordance to health and safety standards, promoting safe working at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills.
