About The Position
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children throughout Nursery and Reception, helping them build the confidence, skills, and foundations needed for future success.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting children through a range of play-based and structured learning activities
- Assisting teachers in delivering an exciting and engaging EYFS curriculum
- Encouraging children's communication, social skills, and emotional development
- Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Working with individuals and small groups to support learning and development targets
- Assisting with observations and contributing to children's learning records
- Promoting independence and positive behaviour throughout the school day
- Supporting safeguarding and welfare procedures to ensure children's wellbeing
The Successful Candidate Will
- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or a related field
- Have previous experience working with children within an EYFS setting
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
- Be caring, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young learners
- Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Show initiative and a proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- A welcoming and supportive Early Years department
- Excellent leadership and a collaborative staff team
- Well-resourced learning environments and outdoor provision
