About the role

You will support the delivery of high-quality training for trainee Habilitation Assistants and Habilitation Specialists within the GDip Habilitation Team. You will plan, assess and deliver practical skills teaching in line with the recognised Quality Standards for Habilitaiton, helping students develop the knowledge and skills required for professional practice.

You will also contribute to the development of programme content across face-to-face, online and blended learning environments, while undertaking environmental audits and risk assessments to support safe and effective delivery of practical skills sessions. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of quality and professional practice.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover position available until 14 June 2027.


About you

You will have a Graduate Diploma in Habilitation and Disabilities of Sight (Children and Young People) or equivalent, be a registered, practicing member of Habilitation VI UK, and have experience of developing Continuing Professional Development (or equivalent) training sessions for a range of audiences.
