Location: Peterborough 2-3 days a week with hybrid working

Role Objective
As part of our expanding capital programme within the @one Alliance, we are introducing the Lead Auditor role to ensure the effective planning, execution, and delivery of internal audits across our operations. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of our industry-leading water infrastructure projects.
Role Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most successful, award-winning, and progressive water sector capital delivery organisations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, risk management, and process improvements, working closely with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and best practice across the Alliance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute operational audits to ensure compliance with the Alliance Management System (AMS).
Identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and drive operational efficiency.
Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the audit process.
Act as the primary liaison with external auditors and certification bodies.
Promote a culture of learning, transparency, and continuous improvement across the Alliance.
Utilise key tools such as AMS, Power BI, and data analytics platforms to track performance.
Analyse KPIs to enhance processes and improve project execution.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Experience leading audits/audit teams, including 2nd or 3rd party audits
Knowledge of quality audit processes in construction (ideally in the water industry)
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001

Skills
Strong leadership and people management skills
Open, honest, and clear communicator
Ability to influence leaders, managers, and frontline workers
