Sinclair Motor Group are seeking an exceptional and commercially driven Head of Business to lead our Land Rover operations across Hay on Wye and Newport.

Reporting directly to the Head of Franchise, you will have full responsibility across Sales and Aftersales operations, leading experienced teams while driving performance, culture and sustainable profitability.

This role offers the opportunity to become part of a high-performing leadership team within one of the UK's leading automotive retail groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall business performance across Hay on Wye and Newport.
  • Develop and execute business plans aligned with Group and manufacturer objectives.
  • Drive sustainable growth across New Vehicle, Used Vehicle, Aftersales, Finance and Retention performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop department managers and their teams to create a high-performance culture.
  • Protect and enhance customer experience standards across both businesses.
  • Ensure all regulatory, legal and manufacturer compliance requirements are maintained.
  • Monitor and report business performance using key operational and financial measures.
  • Ensure optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources.
  • Promote and nurture a client care culture consistent with the expectations of Land Rover and Sinclair Motor Group


More About you:

To succeed in the role, you will need:

  • Senior leadership experience within the Automotive sector, ideally at General Sales Manager or Head of Business level
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to interpret data and drive performance
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A proven track record of delivering growth and profitability
  • The ability to lead from the front, inspire teams and build a high performance culture.
  • A strategic mindset combined with hands on operational leadership
