Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive IT Analyst to assist in the ongoing support of our Social Care systems. This is a 1-year fixed term role focused on maintaining, supporting, and improving the Mosaic case management system and related digital tools used across Social Care.
You will work closely with colleagues across IT, Social Care, and Finance to ensure systems are running smoothly, data is accurate, and user needs are met. While prior experience with Social Care systems is welcome, it's not essential. We're looking for someone with a passion for IT and data-handling, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams alike.
Key Responsibilities
You are confident with a strong interest in using data and technology to support public services. You have excellent problem-solving skills and can work well with a variety of users and stakeholders. While knowledge of social care or Mosaic is helpful, your ability to quickly learn and adapt is more important. You take pride in delivering quality support and improving systems that people rely on every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of the Mosaic case management system.
- Assist in system configuration and small-scale improvements based on service needs.
- Manage and respond to support requests, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Liaise with Social Care and Finance teams to understand operational processes and translate them into system functionality.
- Support the testing and rollout of system changes and regular updates.
- Help maintain data accuracy and ensure high standards of system integrity.
- Contribute to the development of user guides, training materials, and documentation.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and governance policies.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support continuous service delivery.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially with large or complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritise support queries and system tasks effectively.
- Confidence working with users to understand and document system requirements.
- Familiarity with system testing, change control, and release processes.
- Awareness of data governance, information security, and public sector IT standards (desirable).
- A collaborative, user-focused approach to service improvement.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
