Location: Manchester - M27 8WJ - Hybrid

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 9am - 5.30pm

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 DOE

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Infrastructure Firewall Engineer to join our vibrant team. In this exciting role, you will serve as the primary contact for all IT-related queries and requests, playing a pivotal part in maintaining our operations. You’ll provide top-notch technical support and guidance to both internal and external customers, ensuring their IT challenges are swiftly addressed.

You'll delve into the technical intricacies of our systems, networks, and software. Your expertise will be invaluable as you tackle complex issues, delivering effective solutions to minimise disruptions. When critical problems arise, you’ll have the savvy to escalate these issues to higher-level teams, ensuring a seamless IT experience for all.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support for Microsoft systems, Office 365, and mobile devices.
• Log and manage service tickets using the ITSM tool.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues (Wi-Fi, workstation setup).
• Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
• Support and maintain Office 365, Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Escalate complex issues to other teams when necessary.

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange.
• Experience troubleshooting networks and workstations.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools and customer service skills.
• Good communication and time management skills.
