Role: Housekeeper

Location: Buxton House, 423B Radipole Lane, Weymouth, DT4 0QE

Pay: £12.85 per hour

Hours: 30 hours, to include alternate weekend working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join the team at Buxton House, our beautiful residential and dementia care home in Weymouth.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring our home is kept clean, safe and comfortable throughout for our residents
• Supporting with the cleaning of communal areas and residents own rooms
• Provide some support to the laundry team to include washing, drying and ironing of residents clothing
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including COSHH regulations, with regard to cleaning products and use of chemicals.
• Work as a team player to create and maintain a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the home.
  
  
  

Who are we looking for:

Previous experience within a care home setting is not essential - but we want you to come in and enjoy housekeeping!

A real desire to create a fresh and welcoming environment for residents, staff and visitors to enjoy.

Flexible in the hours that you work and happy to join in as part of a larger housekeeping team.
