As a Healthcare Assistant in the theatre at our Shrewsbury Hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a great communication skills and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an operating theatre environment. Please note you must have previous experience in theatres.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management
