About The Role

Reporting to the HSE Manager, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and environmental regulations
  • Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
  • Provide practical HSE guidance and influence site leadership
  • Support maintenance of statutory inspections, PPM schedules, and contractor management
  • Drive continuous improvement and HSE initiatives across multi-site operations
  • Assist in safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on, operational environment, develop your skills across multiple sites, and make a real impact on workplace safety and culture.


About You

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate minimum; IOSH or other HSE qualifications desirable

Experience:

  • HSE experience in engineering, manufacturing, or workshop environments; multi-site experience advantageous

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong verbal and written communication, able to influence leadership
  • Proactive, self-motivated, flexible, and solutions-focused
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills
  • Competent in digital HSE tools and reporting

Desirable:

  • ISO 45001/14001 knowledge, involvement in audits, safety training, and environmental management
