- Salary: £62,000 per annum

Affinity Trust is a large and growing charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism throughout England and Scotland. As we grow our impact and reach, we’re looking for a visionary Head of Housing and Property to drive excellence and integrity in our housing provision and partnership working.
About the Role
This is more than a leadership role — it’s a chance to make a lasting difference. You’ll drive the strategic and operational delivery of our housing services, ensuring our supported housing and local offices are safe, inclusive, and fit for purpose. Working with over 70 housing partners, you’ll lead innovation, champion sustainability, and ensure our services reflect the voices and needs of the people we support now and into the future.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead with purpose: deliver our housing strategy aligned with our mission and growth ambitions.
- Drive operational excellence: oversee housing and facilities management with a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.
- Champion compliance: ensure we meet all regulatory and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Inspire partnerships: build strong relationships with housing providers, developers, and local authorities.
- Empower teams: lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Shape the future: identify new opportunities, influence policy, and contribute to our strategic leadership team.
What you’ll bring
- A strong background in senior housing management, ideally in supported or social housing.
- Deep knowledge of housing legislation and best practices, especially for vulnerable adults.
- Strategic leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and financial management skills.
- A commitment to inclusion, rights, and the wellbeing of people with learning disabilities and autism.
- Professional qualifications (e.g. CIH, RICS) and health & safety accreditation (e.g. IOSH) are desirable.
