About the Role

This is more than a leadership role — it’s a chance to make a lasting difference. You’ll drive the strategic and operational delivery of our housing services, ensuring our supported housing and local offices are safe, inclusive, and fit for purpose. Working with over 70 housing partners, you’ll lead innovation, champion sustainability, and ensure our services reflect the voices and needs of the people we support now and into the future.

  • Champion compliance: ensure we meet all regulatory and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Inspire partnerships: build strong relationships with housing providers, developers, and local authorities.

  • Shape the future: identify new opportunities, influence policy, and contribute to our strategic leadership team.

What you’ll bring

  • A strong background in senior housing management, ideally in supported or social housing.
  • Deep knowledge of housing legislation and best practices, especially for vulnerable adults.
  • Strategic leadership experience in a complex, regulated environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and financial management skills.
  • A commitment to inclusion, rights, and the wellbeing of people with learning disabilities and autism.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g. CIH, RICS) and health & safety accreditation (e.g. IOSH) are desirable.

Why join us?

At Affinity Trust, we’re proud to be a values-driven charity where people come first. You’ll be part of a passionate, supportive team that is committed to making a real difference. We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all.

Your benefits will include:

  • 31 days annual leave pro-rata (including bank holidays), which we increase the longer you are with us
  • Cycle2Work Scheme
  • We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
