Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Handy Person to join our Total Facilities Management Team. This is to ensure our buildings and facilities are well-maintained at 3 Extra Care Contracts, the role is predominantly based in Hull HU3, however, working within HU7 / HU6 may also be required.

Our Total Facilities Management team delivers integrated asset management and maintenance services across education, leisure, corporate, health and residential sectors. We focus on keeping facilities running smoothly, safely, and efficiently – helping our clients create spaces that work for everyone.

This will be a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, with a 4.30pm finish on Friday. Flexibility is important as you may need to cover evenings and weekends during the busier contract periods or as the service demands, while also joining a one-in-six week call-out rota, you will also have the use of a shared automatic company electric van

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Coordinate the labour for any voids at the site, and escalate areas within the voids to the Facilities Manager & Contract Manager where contractors' labour will be required.
  • To ensure all statutory maintenance work is completed as per the programme and to a high standard.
  • Compliance work will include Legionella (L8) Water Hygiene testing, fire & sprinkler testing, fire door inspections, and emergency lighting.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager & Contract Manager to reduce reactive maintenance inefficiencies.
  • Any other duties as per a reasonable management instruction within your skill level appropriate to the role.

Key Requirements Will Include

  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential **
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Be willing to undertake training to enhance Electrical, Plumbing & Fabric skills
  • Relevant knowledge of health & safety, building codes and regulations
  • The appointment to this role will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory StandardDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS Check)
