This role is exciting and varied! They are the friendly faces of the racecourse, playing a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and informative atmosphere for all guests.

They enhance the race day experience through exceptional guest interaction, local knowledge, and proactive guest support.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide a first-class welcome to all visitors, helping to create a positive and memorable guest experience
  • Provide directions and venue information while addressing general enquiries
  • Always offering a warm welcome on arrival and a great goodbye as they leave to ensure a lasting positive impression of their day
  • Spot and support any guests who may need additional assistance (e.g. those with mobility needs, families, first-time racegoers)
  • Remain friendly, approachable, and well-presented at all times, representing the values of the racecourse
  • Be responsible for managing and hosting activations across the site — this could include interactive games, giveaways, photo opportunities or pop-up experiences designed to enhance the race day atmosphere and engage guests of all ages

What skills and experience do we look for in our Guest Experience Creators?

  • Previous experience in drama, theatre or entertaining is preferable
  • Confident, enthusiastic, and passionate about great guest service
  • Approachable with strong communication skills
  • Able to think on your feet and use initiative
  • Comfortable being outdoors for extended periods
  • Previous customer-facing experience is desirable but not essential

Our rates of pay (inclusive of holiday pay):

18+ £14.03 per hour

Shift availability:

Our shifts vary! You are in control of the hours you work via our staff app.

Race day shifts will be predominately evenings and weekends.

Shifts will align with guest opening hours and vary depending on the race schedule.
