Global Head of Strategic Supply – Your future position?
Join Givaudan Fragrance & Beauty Operations and take a pivotal role in shaping how our division builds end-to-end supply resilience, agility, and strategic advantage. As Global Head of Strategic Supply, you will lead the global design and execution of inventory management and raw material supply strategies, alongside the coordination of the S&OP process that connects supply, demand, and business objectives across all regions.
Reporting directly to the Global Head of Supply Chain, you act as the architect and driving force behind the strategic supply framework that supports our growth ambitions, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction while contributing to optimize working capital and cash flow.
You will lead a diverse global team and serve as a critical link between Regional Supply Chain, Regional Supply, GBS and Procurement - ensuring that priorities and processes deliver maximum value to the business. This role offers the opportunity to influence global strategy, drive transformation, and inspire collaboration across our worldwide network.
Flexible location the position can be based at any of our F&B Operations sites in Europe.

Your key responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Define and maintain the global inventory and raw material supply strategies in collaboration with Procurement, ensuring alignment with cash flow targets, service levels, and sustainability objectives.
- Provide strategic supply inputs to the Global Operations business plans and contribute to the multiyear Supply Chain Strategy for the division.
- Govern and evolve the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure visibility, standardization, and actionability across compounding and ingredient networks.
- Establish global supply governance parameters, ownership structures, and performance metrics to drive discipline and efficiency in all regions.
- Partner with Procurement on raw material supply risk management, allocation steering, and supplier collaboration for critical inputs.
- Enable operational transformation initiatives — including digital planning, network optimization, and footprint alignment — ensuring measurable performance improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement at enterprise scale, embedding data driven decision making through advanced analytics and system integration (SAP, BI/BO, etc.).
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best‑practice transfer across planning teams globally, ensuring coherence and leverage of capabilities.
- Help design the Global Supply Roadmap in collaboration with the divisional supply functions and Solution Excellence organization.
- Lead, coach, and empower the global Strategic Supply team, fostering high performance, innovation, and collaboration.
- Shape talent succession and capability building in partnership with HR and Operations leadership, building the next generation of supply chain leaders.
- Champion inclusion, agility, and engagement as core elements of how the global planning community operates.

Your profile includes
- Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
- 15–20 years of end-to-end Supply Chain or Planning experience across international operations; experience in Procurement integration and complex transformation programs.
- Minimum 8–12 years in leadership roles with proven success in managing global teams and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Strong systems and analytics capability (SAP, BI/BO, advanced planning tools).
- Continuous improvement exposure (Six Sigma Black Belt or similar) and APICS certification desired.
- Fluent English; other languages advantageous.
- Skilled in cross-cultural collaboration, decision quality, and strategic communication.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office and business analytics platforms.
