Reports to: Enforcement Manager
Location: Leicester, LE3 5BZ
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

As a Fraud Investigator, you will follow processes to track vital data to support in the prevention, identification, reduction and reporting of meter tampering which poses a risk to revenue and safety.

What We Need from Yü

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:
  • Use the data management system to raise and track progress on investigations.
  • Follow complex processes to ensure data accuracy ready for enforcement.
  • Using various data interrogation techniques to identify instances of energy theft.
  • Manage overflow calls to deliver strong customer service, with an ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Driving best practice and proactive change for the better.
  • Team spirit to assist colleagues and promote the company brand.
  • Able to work with multiple requests simultaneously and complete each task accurately and efficiently.
  • To take responsibility for maintaining an appropriate level of knowledge and seeking assistance from your line manager and/or colleagues where required.

Relevant Qualifications / Experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good computer skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Ideally have previous experience within a Fraud Investigator role or Metering advisor, but not essential.
