WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
- To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
- To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
- Work part of the recycling department in the ware house
- Managing a team of up- to 15 direct reports
- Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader is desirable
- Previous Warehouse experence - desirable
- Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders
- Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
- Familiar with 1-2-1, disciplinary procedures, back to work, conflict resolution
- Ok to wok 4 on , 4 off shifts , 18:00 -6:00
- The role is based in a Recycling department of the warehouse.
