We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team, based at our office in Slough. This is a temporary role for 24 months.
About The Role
The role involves month-end activities, activities within the finance department and providing financial analysis information for the accounting department.
On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:

About The Role
The role involves month-end activities, activities within the finance department and providing financial analysis information for the accounting department.
On a day-to-day basis this is what you would be doing:
- Month-end activities - Journals, Report running, Reports completion, KPI data
- Accounts receivable, Accounts payable reports
- Assistance with Budgeting work
- New AR Portal Project work support
- Operational data provision
- Invoice, supplier, payment, banking reviews
- Weekly BACS run
- Building and enhancement of Process notes
- Assistance with ad-hoc activities within the department
- Holder of a finance / numerate degree, and an accounting qualification. ACA/ACCA/CIMA ideally.
- Excellent analytic, problem solving abilities and looking to continuously improve
- Good negotiation skills
- PC literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Effective communicator
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in a similar role
