We have a great opportunity for a Finance Graduate. This role can be undertaken on a hybrid working pattern, working from our site in Inverness.

Are you a finance graduate ready to make an impact? Join LifeScan and build the foundation for an exceptional career in global finance, whilst gaining full ACCA or CIMA accreditation.

On offer is a a three-year Finance Development programme with funded exam support to obtain either ACCA or CIMA Chartered Accountant status. The role will expose the successful candidate to all areas of Manufacturing accounting, Audit, Headcount reporting, and allow the candidate to gain an understanding of standard costing.

You'll gain hands-on experience within a Global Finance Operations environment meanwhile receiving mentorship from industry professionals ensuring you develop critical skills in

  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Month-end and quarter-end closing processes
  • Journal management
  • Cross-functional business partnering
  • Process improvement and optimization
  • International Accounting Standards
  • Standard Costing/Cost Centre Accounting
  • Variance Analysis
  • Supporting Audit processes and compliance requirements


You will have achieved a Hons (21) Degree or Higher in Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or Economics.

Progress toward CIMA or ACCA qualification (Student Member Status and an awareness of the qualification framework/exam exemptions) is advantageous, as is the ability to demonstrate a commitment to life-long learning.
