Role Overview
To provide commercial, forward‑thinking financial insight that supports Operations and Marketing to drive profitability, sustainable growth, and informed decision‑making across key operational teams, challenging assumptions constructively, and supporting investment and performance improvement in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
This is an office-based position.

Accountabilities
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to effectively partner with Operations and Marketing to provide timely, commercially focused insight and actionable recommendations.
- Lead and support profit assessments for conversions, ensuring robust financial analysis, clear assumptions, and appropriate governance.
- Build, manage, and refresh outlet budgets, aligning operational plans with financial outcomes.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support acquisitions, conversions and strategic initiatives.
- Provide relevant insight and challenge for site performance awaiting conversion between business models
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track outlet performance and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Deliver ad‑hoc analysis to support trading performance, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
- Support across projects and trials to track performance and assist in modelling that can leverage best practice.
- Support cost control and sales growth initiatives by identifying key drivers and tracking benefits.
- Contribute to Executive and Board reporting, including weekly and monthly performance updates.
- Act as a key Finance contact for field teams, holding regular sessions to resolve queries and remove blockers.
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues to continuously improve reporting quality, controls, and ways of working.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior Finance team members where appropriate.
- Undertake additional tasks as required to support the Finance team and wider business.
- Daily and weekly sales / volume reporting for retail sites
- Weekly project performance analysis and review
- Focus sites and heat map reporting to identify trends and opportunities
- P&L / Capex modelling and appraisal
- ROI & investment tracking and support
- Executive reporting and Board pack contributions
- Budgeting and periodic reforecasting
- Delivery of periodic results to the Operations team

- Wider Finance Team
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial data into clear, actionable insight.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently while supporting wider team priorities.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and month‑end timetables.
- High attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets datasets, with strong financial modelling capabilities
- Comfortable using reporting tools and finance systems.
- Coaching mindset, with an interest in developing and supporting others.
- CIMA or ACCA Qualified (or equivalent).
