JOB PURPOSE

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to join the MSC Cruises team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive support to our Managing Director and Vice President of International Sales, managing logistics, coordinating organizational matters, and delivering efficient, responsive administrative support.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Works closely with the Managing Director and Vice President of International Sales, managing his schedule and keeping him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities

· Supports the Managing Director by researching, prioritizing, and following up on key issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature

· Coordinates meetings and appointments, liaising with the IT department for conference calls, video meetings, and room bookings as needed; takes meeting minutes when required

· Prepares high-quality documents, briefing materials, reports, and PowerPoint presentations for the Managing Director

· Arranges travel and accommodation for business trips and processes related expense claims

· Project manages corporate events for the Managing Director both locally and internationally, including trade shows, global meetings, and conferences

· Oversees event logistics, including budget management, venue sourcing, décor, and programme execution

· Compiles the annual budget submission for presentation to the Global Head Office


QUALIFICATIONS

· A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar Executive Assistant or senior administrative role

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel

· Confident, proactive, and energetic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both in person and over the phone

· Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is an advantage

· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach and a commitment to accuracy

· Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity when handling confidential information

· Able to remain composed under pressure, effectively manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines


VISA REQUIREMENTS

· The existing right to live and work in the UK is required
