Exciting On-Going Temporary Position in Woking seeking an Accounts Assistant
Client Details
Our client a leading institution in the United Kingdom with a long history of providing high-quality education and training
Description
Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accurate recording of invoices, receipts, and payments.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Monitor and manage outstanding payments, sending reminders and assisting in the resolution of payment discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
Support the preparation and processing of payroll-related transactions.
Maintain accurate records and files of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other statutory financial filings as required.
Provide support to the accounts team during audits and financial reviews.
Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies.
Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
Experience as an Accounts Assistant and may be working towards their accountancy qualifications
Profile
The successful candidate will have experience in the above and be on short notice.
