Job Description

Looking for a role where standards matter and leadership is practical, visible, and consistent? As a Domestic Supervisor with Rushcliffe Care Group, you will lead the domestic and laundry team to ensure the environment across the service remains clean, safe, and well maintained at all times.

Clean surroundings are not optional. They directly support infection prevention, dignity, safety, and the overall care experience. This role ensures those standards are met every day.

About Rushcliffe Care Group

You will be joining Rushcliffe Care, a company with over 35 years of experience in offering the highest levels of care to our most vulnerable in society. Across our services, we support people to live safer, more fulfilling lives, with dignity, choice, and consistency at the centre of everything we do.

Our work is guided by clear values. These are not slogans. They shape how we treat people, how we work together, and what we expect from each other.

About The Role

As Domestic Supervisor, you will manage and oversee the domestic and laundry service within Epinal Way Care Centre.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the building, ensuring infection prevention procedures, COSHH guidance, and company policies are followed consistently.

Your Role Will Include

  •      Supervising and supporting the Domestic and Laundry team
  •      Planning and overseeing rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
  •      Monitoring performance and addressing any concerns promptly
  •      Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed correctly and on time
  •      Maintaining stock control and ordering supplies within budget
  •      Supporting infection control procedures, including high risk or isolation cleaning where required
  •      Reporting hazards, maintenance issues, or compliance concerns
  •      Providing supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to team members

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be actively working alongside your team on the floor. The role involves carrying out cleaning duties yourself while leading by example, setting the standard for quality and consistency. You will support your team day to day, ensure expectations are clear, and take responsibility for making sure those standards are maintained at all times.

Your 35 hours will be worked flexibly across a seven day service in line with operational need.

About You

You will have experience in domestic or cleaning services, ideally within a regulated care environment.

You understand infection prevention, COSHH, and safe use of cleaning equipment. You are organised, confident in managing rotas and stock, and comfortable leading a team.

You take standards seriously. You address issues early, communicate clearly, and expect consistency from yourself and others.

You are reliable, practical, and willing to work flexibly.
