As Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead performance-driven marketing campaigns that raise awareness of Inspire My Play and generate demand for our sensory play products. You’ll lead and optimise all digital marketing activities with the goal of attracting new customers, improving their experience and ensuring they return, while using data to measure success and improve performance.
This role covers the full marketing funnel. You’ll be responsible for activities at every stage of the customer journey, from attracting attention, to converting leads into customers and encouraging repeat purchases and loyalty.
We are looking for a highly analytical, hands-on and creative digital marketer who is experienced in eCommerce and performance marketing, with the ability to drive measurable growth in a mission-led business that’s passionate about the work it does.
Key Responsibilities:
Attract New Customers
- Plan and run digital marketing campaigns across social media, Google ads, email and affiliate channels to secure new customers.
- Create strategies to attract new customers and keep existing ones coming back.
- Oversee our affiliate marketing programme, ensuring engagement and alignment with brand values.
- Plan and manage collaborations with social media influencers, aligning campaigns with brand objectives and ensuring strong ROI.
- Seek out and lead PR opportunities, including outreach to press, parenting blogs and other media outlets.
Improve the Customer Experience
- Improve the customer experience across all online platforms like Shopify, Amazon, and email.
- Manage and update the website to ensure strong messaging, engaging content and a smooth customer journey.
- Work with our Senior Graphic Designer to create strong visuals and content for campaigns.
- Work with other members of the Inspire My Play team to make sure digital campaigns support wider goals.
Increase the Number of Returning Customers
- Run and improve email campaigns using automation, customer groups, testing, and performance tracking.
- Use customer data to personalise messages and boost engagement.
- Build and manage a network of brand reps, nurturing relationships and supporting user-generated content and word-of-mouth marketing.
Use Data to Measure Success and Improve Performance
- Improve campaign performance to drive traffic, boost sales and get the best return on ad spend.
- Share sales reports and use data to adjust and improve marketing strategies.
- Track and report on agreed company KPI’s in relation to traffic, sales and cost per acquisition.
- Suggest and apply ways to improve marketing results based on data.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads, HubSpot and Shopify to measure success.
Build the Inspire My Play Brand
- Develop and manage blog content strategy to support SEO, customer engagement and brand authority.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital trends and tools to keep the brand competitive.
- Support events, trade shows and award entries to grow our brand and community.
- Work with external partners such as agencies, platforms and web developers.
- Keep brand messaging consistent across all digital channels.
Team Leadership
- Line manage members of the marketing team, providing clear direction, support and regular feedback.
- Set goals and review performance to ensure team members are contributing effectively to business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative team culture aligned with Inspire My Play’s values.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including digital agencies, platform representatives and web developers.
- Coordinate workflows and ensure external collaborators deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
