A varied and rewarding role within a supportive team. The role is to provide a high-quality dietetic service to patients by managing a caseload of designated wards, clinics and to provide nutritional education to support patients, carers and other Health Care Professionals.

To be an active team member taking an role in department responsibilities and activities including projects, audits, student training and covering for colleagues

  • Manage a caseload of medical and surgical wards
  • To seek support for complex cases
  • Manage own outpatient clinic seeing patient groups such as weight management, IBS, Coeliac disease, Diabetes and nutrition support
  • To give nutrition education group talks on coeliac disease and MUST care plans
  • Team work-to help and support colleagues
  • Participate in clinical supervision
  • Complete BDA B5 competencies to facilitate professional progress to Band 6
