Job Description

Join our team to manage client portfolios and ensure timely resolution of trade confirmations!

As a Derivatives Operations Confirmations Analyst within the Derivatives Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining client portfolios and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of trade confirmations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintains a portfolio of clients and reduces aged outstanding confirmations.
  • Works daily to meet internal and external monthly targets.
  • Checks and chases Credit Derivative contracts via Depositary Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) or Paper.
  • Investigates DTCC alleges and ensure J.P.Morgan has uploaded their side of the trade, resolving discrepancies.
  • Builds and sustains strong working relationships with internal lines of business within Derivatives and Middle/Front office groups.
  • Liaises with a dedicated client base to address issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensures compliance with control and regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in the implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Identifies process improvements and efficiency opportunities in daily workflow.
  • Identifies recurring issues and escalate accordingly.
  • Owns and resolves all exceptions and queries relating to Derivative Trades.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Understanding of Derivatives.
  • Timely resolution/escalation of trade queries.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a worldwide client base.
  • Ability to adapt to opportunities presented through change.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent client service skills.
  • Experience with MS Office packages – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Numerate with excellent keyboard skills and a high level of computer literacy.
  • Awareness of large financial risks incurred through operational errors and negligence.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and follow control procedures at all times.
