We're looking for a Software Engineer or Data Engineer (Mid-to-Senior level) to join our dynamic, global team. What You’ll Be Working On
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines (streaming and batch).
- Developing real-time data processing solutions with Apache Flink.
- Implementing robust data ingestion, transformation, and delivery workflows.
- Collaborating across teams (Data Scientists, DevOps, Product) to create data-driven solutions.
- Improving data architecture, monitoring, observability, and governance practices.
- Managing schema evolution, data quality, and recovery logic in pipelines.
- Contributing to documentation, CI/CD processes, and production deployments.
- Experience in Software Engineering with a focus on data systems.
- Knowledge of stream processing concepts (event time, watermarks, windowing).
- Proficient in Java and NodeJS (Python is a plus).
- Familiar with OOP and functional programming.
- Skilled in SQL and experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with message queues (e.g., NATS, Pub/Sub).
- Comfortable with cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and testing practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in distributed teams.
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with Apache Flink and/or Spark is a strong advantage!
- Experience with BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Helm, Istio, Jenkins, or Terraform.
- Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana.
- Understanding of GDPR/CCPA compliance
