We have an opportunity for support workers looking for flexible, rewarding work in a supportive team.
As part of our bank care team you’ll be able to pick up work when available and when/where suits you across several of our clients in the South Wales region, providing them with an excellent continuity of care.
Due to our clients support needs, successful candidates will ideally have previous experience working with complex needs, brain injury/cerebral palsy or spinal injuries though this will not be essential. However experience working in care or with similar need is and training will be provided so that you are able to work across any of the packages in the region.
Pay: Dependent on package (ranges from £14.50 - £15.00 weekdays and £15.50 - £17.00 weekends)
Hours: Flexible, what and where works for you.

- Supporting, and engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
- Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
- Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
- To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
