Job Description
A one year in industry placement with GE Vernova Communications provides valuable exposure to a full array of global communication skills, disciplines, and functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the communications team to deliver tangible results across a spectrum of internal and external opportunities.

Job Description
A one year in industry placement with GE Vernova Communications provides valuable exposure to a full array of global communication skills, disciplines, and functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the communications team to deliver tangible results across a spectrum of internal and external opportunities.
Responsibilities
In this role you will help the organization with strategic project management, writing, editing and additional activities that help shape the story of GE Vernova, both internally and externally. Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Conduct research, and align with business units to write content in support of communications plans and strategic priorities
- Produce digital content, such as infographics, newsletters or other collateral to use on communications channels, featuring employees and company programs to support key initiatives and messages
- Proactively identify opportunities to include strategic messaging and content to broader internal and external audiences
- Assist with intranet management, content writing, editing, and other communication projects as needed
- Provide support for company events and/or meetings
- Support impromptu communications deliverables
- Work with employees and managers at all levels and from various sites to achieve communication goals
- Represent the organization on various internal committees/teams
We Are Looking For Undergraduates Studying Towards a Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Communications And Media, Marketing Communications, Strategic Communication, Media And Communication Degree From An Accredited University. The Ideal Candidate Will
- have completed a minimum of 2 years of the undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of the placement.
- be enrolled at a UK university for the duration of your placement.
- have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media tools and web-based newsletters
- be self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
- have willingness and ability to learn from others.
- have excellent organizational, written communication, and oral communication skills.
- show great initiative.
- thrive in a fast paced and agile environment.
- be passionate about communications.
