Job Overview
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Rheumatology at The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases, Royal United Hospitals Foundation Trust in Bath. The position is for a full-time (1.0 WTE) post to start as soon as possible. The duration of the appointment is initially for 1 year with the possibility of an extension.
Main duties of the job
The post will provide opportunities for training in all aspects of general and specialist clinical rheumatology. We welcome applications from interested, highly motivated individuals to join our specialist team. The RNHRD offers excellent clinical and research opportunities supported by a large, friendly, highly-motivated interdisciplinary team. We would encourage all interested candidates to discuss the options available.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practice.

Education, Qualification and Training
Essential criteria
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Must have or be able to register and hold license to practice with the General Medicine Council (GMC) A, I
- If, where the applicant is applying from, PLAB is necessary, applicants must have parts 1 and 2 or be exempt
- MRCP or equivalent
Essential criteria
- Previous experience in General Medicine
- Previous teaching experience
- Demonstrates knowledge of evidence informed practice
- Demonstrates an understanding of clinical governance
- Previous experience in Rheumatology
- Experience in joint injection
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
