About the client:

Our client is a leading provider of specialist healthcare services, dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care in a professional, safe, and welcoming environment. With a strong reputation for excellence, they are committed to maintaining the highest standards across their facilities to ensure a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff alike.

An opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Operative to join the team, playing a key role in ensuring the site remains clean, hygienic, and presented to an exceptional standard. The successful candidate will help create a safe and comfortable environment by maintaining clinical and non-clinical areas in line with strict cleanliness and infection control procedures.


Hours of work:

11 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00, and Saturday from 17:00 to 18:00.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and sanitising clinical and non-clinical areas to a high standard
  • Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting throughout the site
  • Cleaning toilets, washrooms, and replenishing consumables
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures
  • Cleaning staff areas, offices, reception areas, and communal spaces
  • Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly
  • Following health and safety, COSHH, and infection control procedures at all times
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to management
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility
  • Providing a professional and reliable cleaning service to support patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to manage workload effectively within allocated timescales.
  • Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual cleaning duties, including floor polishing and machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to providing a clean, safe and welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
