Job Description

We are excited to offer an apprenticeship opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about supporting children’s development. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow within a warm and welcoming nursery setting.

Day-Day Responsibilities

• Support the daily care, learning, and development of children across all age groups, including babies, toddlers, and preschoolers
• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate, engaging activities while helping to observe and record children’s progress
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment at all times, following all safeguarding procedures to keep children safe
• Demonstrate good timekeeping, follow instructions carefully, and work effectively as part of a busy and supportive team
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, contributing to a nurturing and inclusive nursery atmosphere

Training

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator – L3.

Prospects

Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
