What's the role?
SMS is currently on the lookout for a Campaign and Performance Analyst to join a busy and important team on a 12 months fixed-term basis.
As a Campaign and Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and maintain the opportunity portfolio, reporting back on the condition of the portfolio as well as supporting the wider business. Ideally you will have some experience working with data and liaising with sub contractors. Naturally, you will have great communication and with a keen eye for recognising opportunities to improve the way we work.
You will manage the opportunity portfolio and identify ways we can maximize this opportunity to achieve our targets. A keen eye for detail to identify more efficient ways of working and not afraid to challenge the “status quo” are also crucial to the role.
This role is offered on a hybrid-working basis (2 days in office and 3 days at home typically) and is contracted at 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. And is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Carrying out data cleanse before this is upload occurs – feeding back to the suppliers.
- Identify more efficient ways of working and not afraid to challenge the “status quo”.
- Make recommendations to business to improve ways of working to deliver a maximum performance.
- Cleaning existing portfolio – separating into tech pot, SME, group customers etc.
- Allocating works to AMI’s.
- Processing pass-backs to suppliers for cancelled works (i.e multiple failed contacts etc) Each site has to be reviewed before it is cancelled back to the supplier to ensure the cancellation reason is legitimate.
- Updating patches for DLO/AMI.
- Producing customer reporting.
- Advanced Excel knowledge, including Macros.
- Good analytical and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Curious about new ideas and able to translate them into viable plans.
- Resilient and responsive to change.
