We're looking for a CAD Technician who will play a key role within the Estates and Facilities team, supporting the management and accuracy of building and asset records across a hospital setting. Working closely with project managers, estates officers, and wider clinical and operational teams, the post-holder will ensure that CAD drawings are kept current following project works and asset changes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has received CAD training and is looking to build practical experience in a professional healthcare environment. Role Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain CAD drawings to accurately reflect completed project works, refurbishments, and alterations across hospital sites.
  • Amend drawings following the replacement, installation, or removal of estates assets (e.g. plant, equipment, fixtures).
  • Ensure version control is maintained and that all drawing files are correctly named, stored, and filed in line with departmental procedures.
  • Carry out quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and consistency before submission or distribution.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and industry standards
  • Update and maintain the asset tracker and associated registers to reflect changes identified during project or maintenance works.
  • Accurately complete documentation, reporting and system updates as required

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant experience within the AutoCAD/CAD.
  • Exposure within the construction industry (eg:pressure vessles)
  • Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to operate within various teams and collaborate efficiently.
