The vacancy
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the DN College’s Business Systems and Information department in a role involving the development, implementation and support of the group's BSI Systems.
As a Business Systems Officer, you will ensure our business systems are managed effectively, running efficiently, and meeting the needs of our teams. You will collaborate with various departments to optimise processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance productivity and workflows.
DN College’s MIS system is ProSolution / ProSuite – experience in using this system is desirable, but the successful candidate will be knowledgeable on the use of an MIS system.
This post is based at Doncaster College, but there will be some requirement to travel between sites.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Systems Administration: Configuration, troubleshooting, and technical support.
- User Experience: Ensure seamless user experience and data integrity.
- Compliance: Conduct audits, manage imports/exports, and update documentation.
- Security: Maintain security and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to support system needs.
- Training: Assist in training sessions and create user documentation.
- Performance Monitoring: Ensure high availability and reliability of systems.
- Project Involvement: Participate in system upgrades and new implementations.
