The Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to support growth across key accounts and win new business. This role is focused on delivering sales performance, building customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities across our core products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow existing accounts and secure new business
  • Deliver against sales and margin targets
  • Identify and convert new opportunities
  • Execute customer account plans
  • Support bids, tenders and project activity
  • Manage vendor approvals (AVLs)
  • Promote core products, services, and partnerships
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, pipeline, and reporting
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Work with internal teams to deliver customer solutions
  • Support marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Represent the business at industry events
  • Support annual budgeting with the Branch Manager

Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum National 5 (or equivalent)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Knowledge of Ex and industrial lighting preferred
  • Awareness of relevant products and manufacturer portfolios
  • CompEx Foundation (desirable)

Additional Knowledge (Desirable)
  • Ex inspection and strategies
  • Fire & gas systems
  • CAP 437 lighting
  • Trace heating
  • Rope access services
  • Project execution / minor modifications

HSEQ Responsibilities
