Job Overview
Bank Advert – Weekday and Weekend shifts available for Band 5 or 6 Physiotherapist depending on experience, across all wards.
Current availability is predominantly on the orthopaedic and stroke wards at the Royal United Hospital, however there is also a variety of shifts available across all the acute wards including the Emergency Department, General Medicine, Surgery, ITU, cancer and palliative care and Older People’s teams.
Main duties of the job
The role ideally requires the candidate to have a range of rotational experience, the ability to work autonomously in an often demanding and changeable environment and the confidence to communicate effectively with a wide spectrum of different healthcare professionals, community colleagues and family members.
We are looking for a motivated team player who will advocate for patients needs whilst supporting discharge planning, flow, and acute rehabilitation within fast-paced multidisciplinary teams.
Mandatory training will be available via the Bank process and internal induction training and competency awareness is available as part of the post.
