As An Associate Land Surveyor You Will
- Build and motivate team to deliver advice, projects and services for both internal and external clients in support of a variety of Utilities and Infrastructure projects
- Managing and reviewing team objectives in line Geomatics team’s targets and strategies
- Hold regular meetings to report on key project milestones and acting on feedback and suggestions to drive and improve service delivery
- Support the wider Geomatics team on the delivery of large-scale, fast paced projects, using own technical, managerial and commercial knowledge
- Monitor and ensure accurate time recording and client reporting requirements in own area of responsibility, maximising billing and taking responsibility for meeting and exceeding financial targets
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies in own area of responsibility
- Provide supportive line management, holding regular constructive one to ones, empowering individuals by recognising achievements, encouraging feedback and directing effective delegation
- Contribute to service and company growth by instigating new work from new and existing clients through networking and cross-selling of services.
- Develop and maintain own knowledge and skills via company run training
- Desirable but not essential to have a RICS or TSA qualification
- Have experience in Trimble hardware and software packages (preferable but not essential)
- Have a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site and project locations
- Be client facing and will be confident communicating with stakeholders of all levels
- Have experience in leading a team and projects
- Strong communicator
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
