We have an exciting new vacancy for an Assistant Quarry Manger to join and help effectively Manage and coordinate production at our Coldstones Quarry Pateley Bridge Harrogate HG35JQ.

As the Assistant Manager, you will help manage the day-to-day production operations of our limestone quarry. The site has just undergone a full replant replacing and reinstating a full brand-new crushing and screening plant and associated infrastructure so a great opportunity to be part this new chapter for Coldstones Quarry

Keys Aspects Of The Role Include

• Assist the Unit Manger in the application, implementation of and compliance with the company's H&S Rules, and to ensure that all activities under your control are conducted within the requirements of current legislation.
• Optimise utilisation of site resources, including labour
• Effectively plan to ensure that daily targets are met at optimum cost
• Supervise employees and contractors on site to ensure compliance with safe working practices.
• Support management, control, and co-ordination of maintenance of fixed and mobile plant to maximise equipment uptime.
• Implement and Manage a Maintenance scheme on the new fixed and mobile Processing plant
• Ensure budgetary financial Targets are met
