About Our Nursery

Gillingham Brompton, rated Good by Ofsted, is a welcoming nursery with a capacity of 98 children, situated in a two-floor building featuring three to four rooms, all on one level. We have four large gardens and provide essential items such as nappies and wipes for added convenience. Our nursery works closely with local emergency services and is located near Chatham and Gillingham nurseries, with convenient access to local bus stops, particularly supporting army families around the barracks. We boast a longstanding staff team that is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for all families, with large rooms, a separate parent room, and a sensory room designed to enhance children's development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.
  • Support the Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure kitchen inventory is well-maintained and assist with ordering and stock management.
  • Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally experience in leadership within early years settings.
  • Strong mentoring and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive improvements and ensure compliance.
