Metering Administrator

We're looking for a Metering Administrator to join our South West Water IWDS team based in St Austell, Cornwall.

Location: St Austell, Cornwall

Hours: 39.5 hours per week – Permanent Contract

What will you be responsible for?

As a Metering Administrator, you'll be working within the South West Water IWDS team, supporting the smooth delivery of metering works by ensuring accurate data entry, reporting, and scheduling coordination.

What will your day in the role look like?

Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Updating and maintaining client systems with accurate information on completed works
  • Monitoring reports and work order progress to ensure service level agreements are met
  • Supporting the coordination of surveyor diaries and planning requirements
  • Liaising with internal teams to flag jeopardies and help resolve issues
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider metering team


What are we looking for?

This role of Metering Administrator is great for you if:

  • You have strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • You have great attention to detail and enjoy working with data and reports
  • You're confident communicating with internal teams and managing competing priorities
