As an Account Manager for UK, you will promote our diagnostic solutions for food and animal feed testing, both in the rapid and reference analysis segment. You will develop sales action plans, support and upselling existing customers (end customers as well as distributors), acquire new customers, and conduct marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote diagnostic test kits and laboratory consumables for food allergens testing, mycotoxin & GMO testing, hygiene & pathogen testing.
- Train and support our customers of the following industry segments: food industry, grain & milling industry, animal feed companies, public & service laboratories, distributors.
- Acquire new customers, search for and onboard new distributors.
- Represent Romer Labs at conferences and industry events, conduct marketing activities like webinars, sales promotions, etc. in cooperation with our product management & marketing team.
- Participate in tenders, prepare quotations, and document all sales activities in the CRM tool.
- Cooperate with our logistic team to guarantee smooth delivery processes. Monitor the account’s payment behavior and act to ensure payment within the agreed payment terms.

- A life science educational background - e. g. in chemistry, food engineering, biotechnology, biology, or agricultural sciences.
- Several years of B2B sales experience - ideally in the diagnostic field and food & agri-business.
- A strong commercial instinct - you love to drive the business, hunt for opportunities, and close deals.
- An entrepreneurial spirit - you prefer the hands-on approach, with strong self-management skills.
- Willingness to travel in the region - up to 50 %, and hold a full driving license
- Excellent communication skills - being fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
