Your role

Corpay is currently looking to hire a 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst.

This is a permanent position and will be based in our Swindon office.

As a 2nd Line IT Technician, you will provide advanced technical support to users, resolving complex IT issues that cannot be handled by 1st Line Support. You will work closely with the IT team to maintain and improve IT systems, ensuring smooth operations across the organization.

This is a busy and fast paced environment; very challenging and exciting. You will have to collaborate with other team members and at the same time handle a high volume of independent work. You need to have a “Can Do” attitude and quickly adapt to new circumstances and manage multiple daily tasks and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll be doing

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues escalated from 1st Line Support.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to employees.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • Assist with server administration, including backups, security updates, and monitoring.
  • Support Active Directory, Office 365, and other enterprise applications.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors for system upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to 1st Line Support and end-users

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line IT Support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS, networking, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Office 365, and other cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience with VMWare Horizon infrastructure
  • Experience with traditional and cloud telephony and softphone solutions
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with users and technical teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple issues efficiently.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.
  • Experience with MacOS, or virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
