Join our Development team as a Project Manager, Island Regeneration

Our Development team sits at the heart of our vision to provide places to call home, with an aim to deliver 5000 homes over ten years. We are responsible for the acquisition, delivery and sales of new-build properties across London and the South East.

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Project Manager, Island Regeneration.

Salary: £45,225 per annum
Location: Hybrid working available (must be able to commute to Camden and Isle of Dogs)

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting/managing key elements of major estate renewal and regeneration projects.
  • Assist/lead (as directed) in the development and implementation of communication, consultation and engagement plans focussed on both residents and non-resident stakeholders if required.
  • Carry out resident engagement activity (including one to one meetings and event attendance).
  • Assist in negotiating legal agreements and contracts with development/joint venture partners and consultants. Provide instructions to appointed solicitors as required.
  • Support the team in preparing financial appraisals for development schemes and assist in identifying ways in which to optimise value, with support from external consultants when necessary.
  • Assist/lead (as directed), with advice from appropriate consultants, on dialogue with local authority, planning authorities and other statutory parties including residents and the wider public.
  • Prepare project plans, briefs, programmes and risk registers for projects and use these tools to manage and monitor progress as required.

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly.

The successful candidate will have:
  • A strong background in either resident/community engagement or development (in particular planning and financial appraisal) will be an advantage.
  • Pro-active and creative approach to problem solving and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to lead a project.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills – able to prepare reports for a range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external consultants.
  • Knowledge of the Housing Sector.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise operational and management needs whilst managing risk.
  • Familiarity with regeneration projects.
