The Workshop Assistant role:

During this role, you will play an important role in the business’s manufacturing processes, assembling brackets and sub-assembly stock to ensure orders are made to the correct specification and dispatched on time, as well as ensuring the company meets its sales targets.

About you:

Duties: (including but not limited to)

  • Assemble accessory parts such as brackets
  • Where required, assembling LED light units to customer requirements
  • Packing and dispatch of finished goods and stocked items.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Follow work instructions to fulfil orders to customer specifications
  • Follow procedures and processes accurately for consistent quality outputs
  • Gather parts / materials required to complete orders.
  • Maintain sub-assembly stock levels to ensure a quick turnaround of orders.
  • Ensure that machinery used is operational through regular maintenance
  • Completing production and quality forms in line with ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related targets/results as needed.
