Project Co-ordinator(Fixed Term / Secondment for six months initially).

The Project Co-ordinator will be a key member of the Professional Leadership and Nursing Workforce Team and will provide high quality project support by implementing effective project management processes to support delivery of the programmes.

The post holder will deliver an effective service supporting managers and staff across the team. They will have significant experience in effective project and programme management and able to evidence problem solving skills and the ability to respond to competing demands.

Specifically, the post holder will:

  • Support the Team to ensure that the portfolio of the nursing workforce projects are planned, managed and delivered effectively.

  • Develop and manage project tracking systems, control and reporting arrangements ensuring that project/programmes’ objectives can be achieved.

  • Effectively support a programme of delivery, which changes to reflect the needs of programme.

  • Support the identification and monitoring of project risk and issues. Propose appropriate mitigating actions and escalate as appropriate.

  • Undertake accurate and timely information analysis, drawing together multiple threads of data to identify opportunities, solutions and priorities for the successful delivery of the projects.

  • Co-ordinate key meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all of the necessary information is organised, gathered and analysed to identify key lines of enquiry that will inform discussions and identify any support required to help Systems successfully deliver nursing workforce programmes.

  • Be a key member of the team, supporting effective open communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally, researching and drafting correspondence and reports, ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.

This exciting role will require an ability to operate and thrive in a complex environment, highly developed relationship-building skills and strong experience of developing, implementing and effectively delivering projects.
