Job Description

This is a full-time permanent position based at our UK Head Office in Wolverhampton. The role will be standard office hours.

  • Corporate legal housekeeping for service, real estate and holding company entities in the United Kingdom and Ireland, (preparing and drawing up various company law documents such as minutes of general meetings and boards of directors, etc.).

  • Company Secretary for all UK and Irish Legal Entities handling filing, publication and statutory reporting requirements.

  • Focal point and liaison between group affiliates, company directors, external legal contacts in a proactive and professional manner with strong adherence to set deadlines.

  • Supporting group-wide intercompany contracting activities.

  • Handing requests and group approval for changes in legal structure of Eurofins’ forty-seven UK and nineteen Irish entities.

  • Distribution of documents for signatures, follow-up on the progress and subsequent dispatch of fully signed documents.

  • Handling notarisation, legalisation and translation of documents. Filing certificates from trade registries.

  • Organising and consistently maintaining paper and electronic repositories in a timely manner.

  • Promotion of effective work practices, working as a team member within a demanding and international environment.


  • Personal Skills:
    Rigorous, well-organised, ability to anticipate and act proactively, ability to work autonomously, excellent drafting and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

  • Initial Education Background:
    You hold at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Legal background and company secretarial qualification essential.

  • Language skills and level expected:
    Fluent in English.

  • Type and duration of previous experience:
    Experience as legal operations assistant or paralegal in law firm or corporate environment and of the role of company secretary of at least 3 years.

  • Technical knowledge (e.g. IT…):
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel) to be able to handle high volume of documents rapidly and implement new efficient solutions.
