A great opportunity for an enthusiastic ‘people person’ to work alongside the community safety team and other organisations to support residents to recover from the impact of the pandemic, help them re-connect with their communities, build social capital and improve their quality of life
Applicants should clearly evidence in their personal statement their experience of partnership working at a neighbourhood level and track record of supporting community engagement and empowerment work, and their experience of supporting local groups or organisations in the delivery of activities and events in the community
You should be a self-motivated individual and someone who enjoys working in a team, as you will be required to provide support and assistance to local people, businesses and communities, promoting and supporting the development, delivery and monitoring of community led action plans, by building effective working relationships at all levels across a wide range of partners to maximise involvement in local working area. There are two posts which are both fixed term for 12 months
